The winery is southwest of Fayetteville between Laurinburg and Raeford. It's also an easy drive from the famous golf resorts of Pinehurst and Southern Pines .

Find Hwy 401 and take it to Wagram. You'll see the Town Hall and water tower just off the east side 401 on Riverton Rd. Take this road three miles to the winery.

As you drive up the road to the winery you'll pass this pond. This would be a great place for a wedding ceremony with the reception back on the patio or under a tent.

I'll get more photos this Spring when things turn green. Of course, I'll use any excuse to visit.

The Smiths spared no expense on their tasting room and gift shop. You can see the patio area off to the right, there's plenty of room at the tasting bar or tables in the gift shop.

Parking is easy and you can see wheel chair access to the left. Wide double doors prevent traffic snarls as people carry cases of wine out to their car.

This is the productions facilities where winemaker General Manager Jim McClanathan plays. He's scrupulously clean and neat, which plays a major part in the quality of the wine. He's finicky in every step of the wine making process, from hand picking of the grape to racking to bottling.

Not as well known yet, I think Cypress Bend is poised to become a major player in the state.
