Summary:
Sisters Sheila Suggs Little and Amy Suggs inherited "Uncle Pinky's" vineyard, which started them on their wine trail, or is that wine trial? Their uncle had planted his vineyards 90 years ago, but at that time he only raised table grapes.
If Uncle Pinky had an occasional glass of homemade wine he never told anyone about it. Now his vineyards legally produce muscadine grapes for their commercial line of wines. There aren't any production facilities on premises, that's all done at the larger Duplin winery.
What is on premises is a large tasting room and gift shop, a bed & breakfast, gardens, and soon to come RV camping resort.

Features: Not only is the tasting room a great place to visit, but the great North Carolina beaches are just a hop, skip and a jump away.
Above the tasting room is Inn d'Vine. The bed and breakfast has three rooms and a large wrap-around balcony where you can enjoy a glass of wine and watch the sunset.
The sisters plan on making the winery a real tourist destination. So along with the boarders and campers, there will be a variety of events throughout the year.
See their web site or our festivals page for more information.
