Summary: I get the feeling owner Ron Taylor never stops. Between the vineyards, the tasting room, and his manufacturing company I'm not sure when he ever stops.
In fact, he invented the Taylor Grape Harvester that picks his grapes.
The winery is named for his parents, Lucille and Miller Taylor.A tee-totaller, you'll notice their is an alcohol free wine named after his mother.
You can tell family is important to Ron. When I was there in winter he had turned his fields into a large holiday decoration drive through. They offer a pick your own vineyard. I remember picking cherries with my family as a kid, learning about farming and agriculture. There is wine to taste for the adults and cider for the kids.
He encourages you to bring your family and fish in the pond, picnic, tour the facility and enjoy one of the many shows at the winery.
Or use the facilities for your own event. There's a large room with a stage as well as open areas outside.
Don't forget to shop in the gift shop. Or stop at Houston Peanuts on your way through Dublin.
